Interface stability

Solid materials must maintain intimate contact as a cell charges, discharges, expands, and contracts. Small defects at an interface can raise resistance or create failure paths.

Manufacturing at scale

A process must deliver high yield, consistent layer thickness, safe handling, and acceptable cost. Performance from a tiny cell does not automatically transfer to a large automotive pack.

The proof checklist

Look for independently verified cycle life, temperature range, fast-charging performance, safety testing, cell size, production yield, and a credible route to materials supply. Omitted measurements are often as informative as highlighted ones.
