Worldwide semiconductor sales reached $146.8 billion in July 2026 on a three-month moving-average basis, according to figures released by the Semiconductor Industry Association and compiled by World Semiconductor Trade Statistics.

The reported figures
July’s total was 6.4% higher than June’s $137.9 billion. The association also reported a 135.1% increase from July 2025, when the total was $62.5 billion.
Month-to-month sales increased in Japan, the Americas, Asia Pacific and other regions, Europe, and China. The association said July marked the seventeenth consecutive month of sequential growth.
How to read the data
The release describes industry sales, not unit shipments or profit. Because the published monthly figure is a moving average, it smooths some short-term variation and should not be read as a single-month invoice total.
Strong aggregate sales can reflect demand, product mix, pricing, and capacity conditions. More detailed segment data is required before attributing the increase to one class of chip.
